Groupama achieves highest IIP standard

Insurer recommended as Champion for IIP
Setting a new benchmark for the insurance sector, Investors in People (IIP) has awarded Groupama Insurances the highest standards across many areas of evaluation under the new IIP accreditation framework. The news follows a series of in-depth interviews and analysis over the course of 6 weeks by the Investors in People assessors. The new 3 year accreditation is testament to the range of initiatives Groupama has put in place to become a preferred employer.
IIP officials looked in detail at 10 different ‘indicators’ of successful people management such as Business Strategy, Management Effectiveness, Empowerment and Involvement, and Continuous Improvement. Groupama achieved the highest possible standard for 5 out of the 10 indicators and above the basic standard in all bar one.
The IIP commended Groupama on its genuine commitment to becoming a ‘great place to work’ and noted its focus on placing these values at the heart of the organisation. The report also found that Groupama’s managers and team leaders are seen as accessible and approachable, as well as encouraging a culture of trust and inclusion.
