Groupama is France's number one individual health insurer, with €935 million in premium income.

Working closely with local communities in France, Groupama helps to improve patient wellbeing through the Groupama Foundation. Founded in 2000, its principal mission is to develop information on rare diseases, promoting research and innovations, particularly in new treatments.

Since its inception, the Foundation has dedicated more than €2.7 million to financing over 100 projects.

These include financing research into rare diseases, awarding scholarships to young researchers and running conferences for well-known figures in the field of medicine, medical research, the sciences and health economics.

Groupama also supports Les Massues Medical - Surgical Centre in France. The Centre is widely recognised for its level of expertise in spinal surgery, fitting of prostheses, rehabilitation of amputees, treating back pain and rehabilitating children.
